Hi Julie, I've offered to go up take some photo's of the dogs, write an article for my website and put the contact details on and fire it round my fb friends to try and generate interest/awareness.
You know who I am by the way I took a leaflet off you the other day
Have put up posters in my private gym and have been telling people about the website and what you do.I will organise a Spring charity do to in aid of your charity.
I have been told that you shouldn't mix staffies with other dogs in a family because they like to be boss. Is that a typical trait because it makes me worried about rescuing one with 2 other dogs?
Preferably little because 3 dogs in the TV room means we need one small ( or runty). My husband loved carrying the little one, a bit hard with the crosss mastiff.I don't think that I want a pure jack russell because will run off accross the fields chasing foxes and already have a patterdale 3 legged 9year old bitch. I am afraid that a staffie might fight with my big dog or terrier or have a go at the cat, but maybe not. I do love the bull breeds and have had bull mastiffs and a bulldog before. Maybe an English bull terrier if very docile or young..but maybe too aggressive with other dogs. When my big boy goes I will definitely rescue a bull breed. If you can keep me informed of any little ones also would like to know hoe can help .
I am looking to rehome a small/ miniature dog..young male or female to live with my 2 other dogs.
Thanks for the message. We have loads of pictures of Tramp and his full story is on ALUK. It?s called Tramp and is in Fostering Experiences if you fancy a look. We loved the time we had with him and still miss the little guy now that he has moved on. The big plus for us is that his new forever mum is the mother of my assistant transport manager so I get daily reports on how he is doing, plus they have invited me for tea so that I can see him again, but I am going to leave this for a few weeks until he is really settled in so as not to confuse him.
We now have Oz with us, I picked him up yesterday and he has been a real sweetie even though his injuries are causing him discomfort. We are taking him to our vets tonight so that we can assess his injuries and put a plan together to get him well. Even though he smells awful he is so soft and loving you just want to cuddle him all the time, he really is a lovely dog. Chris
Thank you - it makes me smile everytime I look at it. It is my gorgeous boy Woody who is now at the bridge. He was 12 when this was taken and still full of fun.
